BUILDING PLAN IN JAKARTA

What is government building plan for 'mass' facilities?

We interest to investigate the issue in the exhibition

Picture
The exhibition is a way for us to celebrate our learning. We start by finding an issue that is important to us its about governmental systems impact to the citizens; Building Plan in Jakarta and then  we plan our exhibition and begin to gather data to answer our questions.  Once  all  the  information  is  gathered we observe,  organize  and  interpret  our collected data. Now all their information is sorted we start to present their data in many ways like posters, graphs dioramas, slide shows, movies, pictures and models.

It was important that the public was involved in drawing up the plan. “If you want to know whether the shoe fits, ask the person who is wearing it, not the one making it." (Rajak)

Picture
We are beginning to think about action this week.  We want students to begin thinking about what they are going to DO with their learning.  As our Central Idea is “ Governmental System Impact to the Citizens Building Plan " we hope we can find a way to positively impact their surroundings.
They are also continuing to dig deeper & sort- The goal for this week is to help them narrow in and go deeper with their inquiry by reflecting on what they have learned so far and choosing which driving questions they should dig deeper into.
Students continue to go on many exciting field trips and interviews. They are also beginning to design their arts component.  At the end of each day, they meet with their groups and the mentors to work on ways to show their learning creatively.

Develop Presentation Ideas
Picture
Students will organize where they are at this stage in their research and summarize what they have learned so far.

Students have begun to brainstorm ways that they can take action in The Exhibition. For some, this means organizing larger events while others may be developing an interesting way to educate our community about their issue.

Field Trips and Interviews!

Presentation: Think about what information they will share. What message do they want to send to people? What kind of information will they focus on? How will they show it in the most effective way?
